Al Johnson
Offensive Line Coach
Al Johnson, a five-year NFL veteran and standout Wisconsin Badger is the offensive line coach.
Johnson, a Brussels native who was all-state at Southern Door High School, played for three NFL teams at guard and center from 2004-08. Johnson was a second-round draft choice (38th overall) by the Dallas Cowboys in 2003. He played in 48 games, starting 31, with the Cowboys from 2004-06. Johnson played and started in 14 games with the Arizona Cardinals in 2007 and played in four games with the Miami Dolphins in 2008.
Johnson was a three-year starter at Wisconsin. As a senior captain, he was a second-team All-Big Ten selection and earned third-team All-America honors from The Sporting News. Johnson was honorable mention All-Big Ten as a sophomore and junior.
Greg Rabas
Running Backs Coach
Running backs coach Greg Rabas has been a successful high school coach in the Green Bay area for the past two decades. Rabas spent the 2012 and 2013 seasons as the offensive coordinator at Bay Port High School, with the Pirates setting school records for points scoring and total offense in 2013.
Rabas was the head coach at De Pere High School for 10 seasons, compiling a 60-26 record in his last eight seasons with three conference championships and eight WIAA playoff appearances. In 2007, his final season with the Redbirds, Rabas coached Drew Nowak, who spent the 2013 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Rabas, a Kewaunee native, played tight end for the University of Nebraska in 1978 and 1979, and then finished his collegiate career at the University of Wisconsin from 1980-82.
Don Maslinski
Tight Ends Coach
Entering his eighth year on the staff, Don Maslinski has been a fixture around St. Norbert athletics. Maslinski, who was St. Norbert’s athletics director from 1998 to 2004, was a long-time assistant football coach at Ashwaubenon High School in Green Bay. “Maz” will again work with the tight ends this season.
Todd Bierowski
Wide Receivers Coach
In his 13th year coaching the wide receivers at St. Norbert is Todd Bierowski. Bierowski is a highly decorated St. Norbert player, sharing the school record for pass receptions in a game with 12 and is fourth all-time in pass receptions with 122. Bierowski also served as a team captain in 1993 and 1994.
Ryan Napralla
Offensive Assistant Coach
Ryan Napralla, who is an assistant with the offense, is in his sixth season as an assistant coach at St. Norbert. Napralla, who previously coached defensive line, played for the Green Knights from 2001 to 2004 and was a second-team All-Midwest Conference selection as a defensive lineman as a senior.
Mike Schultz
Assistant Offensive Line Coach
Mike Schultz is in his sixth year of a second stint coaching at St. Norbert. Schultz, who will serve as an assistant offensive line coach, aided at St. Norbert from 2002-04 and was also an assistant coach at Lawrence and Carroll, where he played quarterback from 1992-95.
